The RH42Y-S is an integrated long-range acoustic-optic warning system built for maritime security, port safeguarding, offshore monitoring, and watercraft protection. It fuses directional acoustic emitters, a high-definition camera, high-intensity illumination, a green laser, and a laser rangefinder onto a dual stabilized-gimbal platform that keeps a steady target line-of-sight despite vessel sway and vibration. Paired with a high-power acoustic module, the system provides long-range surface-target situational awareness and a contactless, tiered Notification-Warning-Response engagement sequence, managed over TCP/IP and hardened to IP66 and maritime MIL-STD environments.
Merges a directional 161 dBA acoustic module with optoelectronics on one dual gimbal, so sound, sight, light, and ranging act as a single coordinated package.
A +/-15 degree acoustic beam at 2 kHz projects voice and tone to 1259 m operationally (3162 m maximum), reaching surface targets without omnidirectional spill.
A high-precision gimbal with <=0.5 mrad stability holds the camera, illuminator, laser, and acoustic head on target through ship motion and vibration.
A 13.2 Mcd LEP illuminator reaches 7200 m (1 degree to 30 degree angle, constant or flash) while a 525 nm 5 W Class 3B laser provides visible marking for identification.
The 1535 nm rangefinder (<=0.3 mrad divergence) measures buildings to >=10 km, vehicles to >=8 km, and persons to >=5.5 km for accurate standoff assessment.
Built from aluminium alloys and carbon fibre, sealed to IP66, and qualified to MIL-STD-810H (temperature, humidity, rain) plus MIL-STD-167-1A shipboard vibration for sustained sea duty.

The RH42Y-S mainly serves Maritime Security, Critical Infrastructure Security, Public Safety, and Mass Notification.
Common application scenarios:
On security vessels and offshore platforms, it extends surface-target awareness and enables tiered, contactless Notification-Warning-Response engagement well beyond visual range.
Guards ports, harbours, and coastal facilities by detecting and deterring unauthorized watercraft with combined acoustic, optical, and ranging cueing.
Supports maritime and emergency crews with long-range illumination, identification, and public-address messaging during search, rescue, and incident response.
Delivers long-distance voice alerts and visible laser or light marking to warn vessels and shore personnel across wide maritime and waterfront areas.
