RS103 at a Glance
The RS103 is a forearm-mounted opto-acoustic shield that fuses passive protection with active, non-lethal deterrence. It pairs a directional acoustic emitter with a high-intensity tactical light so one unit both shields the operator and projects coordinated sound-and-light deterrence downrange. The acoustic channel throws focused, intelligible voice commands and warnings well beyond arm's reach, while the optical channel delivers a penetrating beam and a disorienting flash that break a subject's approach. Lightweight and balanced for sustained one-arm carry, the shield is built to shrug off dust, spray and rough field handling, and runs independently of any external power — keeping the defender behind cover while the threat is held at a distance.
