This week at AFRIDEX 2026, the real value wasn't on the spec sheet — it was in the dialogue. Customers shared the problems they actually face in the field. We answered with systems that are already deployable. And we left with a fresh stack of real-world application questions we'd only ever hear standing on the booth floor.
Four days in Lagos, Booth 2130.
The piece everyone gathered around sat on the roof of a vehicle parked right at the booth — our RH20Y, fixed and ready, exactly as it would be mounted on a patrol vehicle. People didn't just look. They stepped in close, asked how it clamps to the roof, how fast it goes from parked to live, what it actually sounds like once it's switched on. That's the kind of question no brochure can answer.
One moment stayed with us: a police officer describing the patrol route he walks day after day, sharing the blind spots he knows by heart, the shortfalls in his current gear, and the stubborn problems that keep coming back. We weren't pitching — we were comparing notes on how a roof-mounted system would close those gaps in his daily routine. By the end he'd laid out his real-world constraints more sharply than any spec review could, and we'd picked up something we'll carry into the next build.
That's what we brought to Lagos: acoustics and optics, built for the real world. Not a demo that lives in a lab, but a system you can point at a vehicle and say "like this — on mine."
Couldn't make it this week? Contact us — we'll walk you through the details. And if you've got a real-world problem we should be solving, the conversation doesn't end when the booth packs up.
Thanks, Lagos. See you at the next one.
