The 2026 Eurosatory International Defence Exhibition in Paris has come to a successful close. As a top-tier professional defence expo gathering manufacturers, military procurement representatives and industry analysts worldwide, Ribri Acoustics & Optics showcased our full lineup of self-developed drone detection equipment and long-range acoustic-optical security devices at our booth. We wrapped up this overseas exhibition with abundant industry recognition and preliminary intentions for global cooperation.

This exhibition marked a key technical showcase for Ribri targeting the global low-altitude security and forward position protection market. Throughout the show, numerous professional visitors including military delegations, security engineering contractors and defence media from all over the world visited our booth for in-depth exchanges on practical pain points of counter-FPV drone operations, deployment of passive detection systems and perimeter protection solutions for critical infrastructure.
Against the industry-wide challenge of hard-to-detect FPV fibre-optic drones and low radar cross-section loitering munitions, we presented a complete technical solution of fused acoustic and thermal imaging passive multi-modal detection. Operating without active radar emissions and immune to electronic suppression, our solution perfectly meets the electromagnetic silence requirements of frontline combat units and won high recognition from visiting professional clients. Meanwhile, our team held multiple rounds of technical negotiations, laying a solid foundation for overseas market rollout and customized equipment cooperation for diverse scenarios.

Our world premiere flagship product at the exhibition, the system weighs merely 6.4 kg and supports rapid man-portable deployment. It integrates two core modules: the HUGIN acoustic detection node and the MUNIN EO/IR verification node.
1. Early Acoustic Warning Capability Equipped with a 48-cell MEMS microphone array covering a 150° horizontal directional sector, it delivers acoustic alert for FPV drones at a maximum range of 600 meters, while detecting Shahed-136-class large combustion-powered loitering munitions from over 5,000 meters away. Built-in edge-AI algorithms identify acoustic signatures of rotorcraft and combustion engines, enabling non-line-of-sight early warning through vegetation, buildings, terrain folds and smoke, reserving a 30–60 second response window for troops based on drone speed.
2. Precision Target Verification via EO/IR Optics The triple-mode EO/IR camera architecture supports wide-area day and night search via panoramic visible and infrared channels, paired with a zoom lens capable of target lockout up to 4 kilometers, drastically reducing false alarms triggered by vehicles, wind, industrial machinery and other battlefield noise.
3. Passive EW-Immune Architecture Zero radar transmission ensures effective detection against fibre-optic controlled FPV drones and autonomously pre-programmed UAS. Supporting TCP/IP and 4G/5G cellular networking for seamless integration into command-and-control architectures, the unit features IP65 ingress protection and complies with MIL-STD-810G environmental standards, suitable for field emplacement, vehicle mounting and tower installation.
4. Multi-Scenario Adaptability Ideal for early warning for dismounted infantry, airspace surveillance at forward operating bases, maritime and coastal security, perimeter protection of power, communication and other critical infrastructure. Multiple units can be networked to deliver full 360° situational awareness.

Our full product portfolio forms an integrated low-altitude security chain covering detection, classification, early warning and acoustic deterrence, catering to dismounted, vehicle-borne and fixed-site deployment requirements.
During the exhibition, Jérôme Brahy, senior defence analyst from the authoritative global defence media Army Recognition, paid a special visit to our booth. He conducted exclusive in-depth interviews focusing on the Heimdall system’s passive multi-modal detection technology and its practical advantages against new-generation FPV drones, and later published a full professional report that thoroughly interpreted Ribri’s proprietary technical routes and equipment performance for global defence audiences.
